This year, Josef Chromy is hosting Effervescence Tasmania- a signature sparkling wine event featuring 15 of Tasmania’s most acclaimed Sparkling producers in 2015. The event will take place from the 13th of November to the 15th of November.
Guiding guests through the diverse range of Tasmanian sparkling wines is Tyson Stelzer, the 2015 International Wine Communicator of the Year and author of The Champagne Guide. Some of Australia’s leading Sparkling winemakers will also be present at the event to assist Tyson with master classes to taste and inform guests on what makes Tasmania sparkling so special.
With his restaurants regularly included among the best in the world, Effervescence Tasmania is delighted to have Tetsuya Wakuda as its guest chef for the official Welcome Dinner on Friday 13th of November. Tetsuya will join the New World?s best sparkling winemakers over the weekend and conduct a cooking master class for the public with some of Tasmania?s iconic primary produce on Saturday the 14th of November.
Saturday evening finishes on a relaxed note with one of Sydney?s leading Dj?s; Damien Goundrie setting the mood to relaxed night of food, cool beats and dancing.
For those heading south on the Sunday (Hobart) the party continues with a progressive tour, tasting and lunch with Frogmore Creek, Moorilla and lunching at Osteria at Stefano Lubiana for a three course lunch matched with flights of effervescent wine.
